Recipe for Catnip Cookies (by Merchantess Mila)

Abundant milk-chocolate chunks erupt through the rugged surface of this catnip

and oatmeal cookie. The half melted chocolate lies within the embrace of the

moist grass green dough like lava peeking through a solidified crust, twisting

through the rough terrain of the oatmeal. The morsel is served on a round,

polished mahogany tray with a tiny alabaster-porcelain pot of cream. Etched on

the underside of the tray is a tiny 'mc'

taste

When you bite into this cookie the exquisite sweetness of the chocolate is

cooling on the tongue, swirling within the crunchiness of the oatmeal. All

this, complemented by the fervid punch of the euphoric catnip.

smell

A captivating hint of herbal scent with just a shade of citrus issues from the

baked delight. Beneath that grassy bouquet is the savory warmth of oatmeal and

the beckoning aroma of chocolate.

Feline holidays as celebrated in my home village:

  • 1st of March - Fluff Day. The day we start loosing our winter fur. Celebrated by running around, brushing everyone with a hair brush and wishing a "happy fluff day",

  • 30th of April - End of mating season

  • 1st of May - Begin of mating season

  • 1st of June - Day of the catnip bloom - On this day, we give away catnip blossoms to the people we like. As catnip is a mint plant and looses its aroma when starting to bloom, it also tells you that you idiot forgot to harvest

  • 8th of August - World feline day

  • 17th of November - Peace day (End of the war with the Lykans.) Celebrated by throwing sticks into the bushes and bring them back or performing the "Lykos dance" (which mainly consists of chasing your own tail).

Catpirinha (alcoholic)

taste:

You taste the delicate flavouf of a bold white room, diluted with water and sweetened

with fine bown sugar. A piece of lime adds a fruity flavour, while the minty aroma of some

catnip leaves give the drink it's umistakable fresh taste.

smell:

You smell the fresh taste of catnip leaves and lime added to a fine drink made of white rum.

look:

This drink is based on a traditional feline recipe. The delicate, clear drink is served in a long

glass containing a slice of lime and some catnip leaves. It is decorated with a funny straw shaped

like a feline tail.

Catnip (druid flower)

This catnip plant is about 30 inches in height and has a square stem and
triangular, coarse-toothed leaves. The small fragrant blossoms are white and
finely spotted with pale purple. The plant spreads a soft fragrance of fresh
mint.
